ACC Organizes Jordanian–Czech Business Meetings in the Energy

The Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) organized Jordanian–Czech bilateral business meetings in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Jordan and the European Business Association in Jordan, with the participation of several Czech companies specializing in the energy sector and representatives of Jordanian companies.

ACC Chairman Khalil Al-Haj Tawfiq emphasized that Jordanian–Czech relations represent a model of cooperation based on mutual respect and shared interests. He highlighted the importance of building on these relations by enhancing direct communication between the business communities of both countries and expanding areas of economic and investment partnership.

He stated that the Amman Chamber of Commerce places strong emphasis on supporting international economic cooperation and creating channels of communication between Jordanian companies and their counterparts worldwide. Such efforts contribute to encouraging investment, exchanging expertise and knowledge, and facilitating technology transfer. He stressed that the private sector is a key partner in strengthening economic relations between countries and transforming them into practical opportunities and projects.

Al-Haj Tawfiq added that Czech companies possess advanced expertise and innovative technologies in the fields of energy, sustainability, and industrial development, creating promising opportunities for cooperation with Jordanian companies and the establishment of partnerships that support economic development and enhance the competitiveness of the private sector in both countries.

He noted that the bilateral meetings provide an important platform for networking, building professional relationships, and exploring opportunities for cooperation and joint investment. He expressed his appreciation to the Embassy of the Czech Republic and the European Business Association in Jordan for their efforts in organizing the event and affirmed the Chamber’s aspiration that these meetings will lead to new partnerships that contribute to the development of economic relations between Jordan and the Czech Republic.

For her part, Ambassador Andrea Kucerova affirmed the Czech Republic’s commitment to strengthening economic, trade, and investment cooperation with Jordan and expanding partnership opportunities between the private sectors of both countries. She noted that the Czech delegation includes specialized companies with advanced expertise in renewable and sustainable energy, smart automation, monitoring systems, and energy management solutions.

She explained that the bilateral meetings provide a practical framework for enhancing direct communication between Jordanian and Czech companies, exploring opportunities for cooperation and joint investment, and establishing practical partnerships that facilitate the exchange of expertise, technology transfer, and the development of projects of mutual interest.

She also emphasized the importance of building on the distinguished relations between Jordan and the Czech Republic in a manner that enhances trade and investment exchange and opens new horizons for cooperation between the business communities of the two countries.

Meanwhile, Eng. Mohammad Al-Smadi, Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce in Jordan, stressed the importance of strengthening economic cooperation between Jordan and European countries. He noted that the Association continuously works to support communication between Jordanian companies and their European counterparts and to provide platforms that help build partnerships, exchange expertise, and facilitate technology transfer.

The event featured presentations by several Czech companies specializing in the energy and smart technologies sectors. Solarity, RSE, and ELKO EP showcased their latest solutions in renewable energy, energy storage and management, cogeneration, automation, and smart building systems, emphasizing their interest in strengthening cooperation with the Jordanian private sector in the fields of energy efficiency, digital transformation, and smart infrastructure.

The event also included direct business-to-business meetings between representatives of Jordanian and Czech companies, during which participants discussed opportunities for cooperation, partnership, and investment, and explored the latest advanced technologies and solutions in renewable energy, energy management, and modern industrial technologies.
