ACC Organizes a Meeting with a Delegation from China’s Shandong Province

The Amman Chamber of Commerce organized a bilateral trade meeting between Jordanian trading companies and their counterparts from China’s Shandong Province, as part of efforts to strengthen trade cooperation and explore partnership opportunities between the Jordanian private sector and its Chinese counterpart.
The meeting, held at the premises of the Amman Chamber of Commerce, was co-chaired by Falah Al-Sughayer, Deputy Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Amman Chamber of Commerce, and Li Hong, Deputy Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Shandong Provincial Committee.
Al-Sughayer emphasized the importance of developing economic relations with Chinese companies, noting the Chamber’s commitment to providing an effective communication platform that contributes to enhancing trade and investment cooperation between the two sides.
He also highlighted the Chamber’s role in supporting economic partnerships and opening new markets for Jordanian companies, in a way that positively reflects on the growth of trade exchange and the stimulation of joint investments.
The Chinese delegation included a number of companies operating in various fields, most notably frozen foods, flour products, food industry technologies, agricultural and animal products and feed, metal sheets and galvanized products, in addition to the clean energy sector and agricultural supplies. During the meeting, areas of mutual interest and potential cooperation opportunities were reviewed.
For their part, members of the Chinese delegation presented introductory presentations on the nature of their companies’ activities and production capabilities, expressing their interest in strengthening cooperation with Jordanian companies and building future partnerships that serve the interests of both sides, particularly in the food, agricultural, industrial, and clean energy sectors.
This meeting comes within the ongoing efforts of the Amman Chamber of Commerce to expand its network of international relations and enhance communication between Jordanian businesspeople and their counterparts from various countries around the world, in a manner that contributes to supporting the national economy.
