The Amman Chamber of Commerce Training, Entrepreneurship and Business Development Academy in collaboration with Information Technology Association – INTAJ present means of “Fund Raising” to more than 100 Entrepreneurs.

 

 

Over (100) entrepreneurs have participated in the discussion session under the name: “Fund Raising” which was held by The Amman Chamber of Commerce Training, Entrepreneurship and Business Development Academy in collaboration with Information Technology Association – INTAJ on Wednesday.

Attendees widely discussed the means of attracting investments for applicable ideas in the local market, strength and weakness points to make the idea a success and then transform the idea into a successful project.

The Executive Chairman of Oasis500, Mr. Faisal Haqqi was hosted as an expert in this field. Attendees also listened to the experiences of the entrepreneurs: Iman Hailouz / the founder and the executive chairman for “ABJAD” website and to Mr. Salah AL Sharef / the founder and the executive chairman of “Syarah.com.”.

The member of board of directors / Mr. Jamal Fariz on his welcoming speech stated that holding this session comes on the sideline of the Chamber’s keenness to remain an effective partner in the development of the national economy and the local market by adopting ideas and the entrepreneurial projects by the business incubators and supporting SME’s.

Fariz added that the integration of experiences between establishments and individuals has an essential role on building knowledge and skills in order to adopt with a changeable economic environment to make right decisions.

On his side, the Director General of the Information Technology Association – INTAJ \ Eng. Nidal Bitar explained the role of INTAJ on shedding light on opportunities and trying to eliminate challenges faced by the Entrepreneurial sector in cooperation with the executive and the legislative authorities in the kingdom.

He added that INTAJ takes part in most international relevant events with regard to ICT sector so as to promote investment opportunities in Jordan, opening new markets and supporting capital.
The General Manager of the Amman Chamber of Commerce Training, Entrepreneurship and Business Development Academy \ Dr. Waseem Haddad presented the Academy’s role on supporting entrepreneurs by “Darret Al-Riyada” which was founded in cooperation with the Academy’s strategic partner, INTAJ, and the Ministry of ICT.

He also stated that Darret Al-Riyada, lying at the premises of ACC is a business incubator which provides several privileges for participants as training and directing entrepreneurs to establish their own project in addition to administrative and legal consultations as well as issuing a profession license for entrepreneurs who will begin their activities and promote their products in cooperation with the Greater Amman Municipality office at the Chamber.

The Director General of the National Fund for Enterprise Support (NAFES), Mr. Madhar Al-Majali gave a presentation on the Fund which was founded on 2001, aiming at assisting SME’s in Jordan to improve their managerial skills and increasing competitiveness by presenting financial support for implementing projects within high quality criteria.
